With the London Olympics fast approaching and numerous sites already underway, well trained construction workers are in high demand.

Twin’s Construction (CSCS) course funds learners to gain the legally required Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and then our Recruitment team can help you find work within the construction sector.

Details

Course: Construction (CSCS)
Qualification: Construction Skills Certification Scheme card + Employability Skills Level 2 (NCFE)
Funding: Fully funded – FREE
Duration: One day a week for four weeks - two days’ intensive health and safety; four days’ employability skills + CSCS card test
Location: Twin Lewisham HQ
Start date: Ongoing

What do trainees learn?

There are fifteen construction modules, including:

  • Working at height
  • Emergency procedures and first aid
  • Safe use of hazardous substances
  • Electrical safety
  • Hand-held equipment and tools
  • Fire prevention and control
  • And more ....

Who is eligible?

Age: 16+
Status: Unemployed or economically inactive
Residence:

Unemployed, economically inactive or working less than 16 hours a week. Living in any London borough. An EU resident or living in the UK for at least 3 years
