With the London Olympics fast approaching and numerous sites already underway, well trained construction workers are in high demand.

Twin’s fully funded Construction (CSCS) course funds learners to gain the legally required Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card. Graduates are also helped to find employment within the construction sector.

What do trainees learn?
While on this course you will gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of health and safety. There are fifteen modules in total - for example:

  • Accident prevention and reporting
  • Manual handling

  • Emergency procedures and first aid
  • Safe use of hazardous substances
  • Electrical safety
  • Hand-held equipment and tools
  • Fire prevention and control
  • Excavations and confined spaces
  • And more

Who is eligible?

Age: 19+
Status: Unemployed or economically inactive and the right to work in the UK
