Hospitality includes bars, restaurants, nightclubs, catering and many other types of organisation. Approximately 2.5 million people are employed in the sector in the UK, that’s 10% of the UK’s working population, and customers spend around £270 billion a year.

Course: Hospitality
Qualification: ILM (Insitute of Leadership Management): Intro to First Line Management (Level 3)
CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health): Basic Food & Hygiene; Health & Safety (Level 2)
Funding: Fully funded
Benefits: Childcare and travel expenses
Free sector publications to keep
Structure: Four-week, part-time programme (max 16 hrs per week)
Location: Westminster Kingsway College, Victoria, London SW1P (Twin partner centre)

Who is eligible?

Age: 18+
Basic skills: Minimum standards of literacy and numeracy required
Status: Unemployed and actively seeking work, or working less than 16 hours a week
Eligible to work in the UK
Not training on any other government-funded course
Residence: Have been living in the UK for at least 3 years
