What do trainees learn?
This two-week intensive programme will give you really useful training and support from all Twin’s teams. The programme includes:
- Workshops with sector specialists in skills for retail, manual handling, food safety & hygiene and construction. All the tutors have a background of experience in their field.
- Personal and social development skills sessions
- Employability training – IT, job search, CV, cover letter and interview skills
- Advice and guidance service - careers and further training
Personal effectiveness training is at the core of this course – these are the personal skills that modern employers are looking for. You’ll learn about:
- Communication
- Self-presentation
- Punctuality and time management
- Problem-solving
- Team-working
