Voluntary work could offer the opening you need if you are having difficulty finding work. It is a great way of getting into a working environment whilst helping others. You could:

- gain recent, relevant work experience

There are many choices in the sort of voluntary work available so its worth thinking about what you want to do and how much time you have available.
If volunteering is something that interests you, at Twin we also offer worldwide volunteering opportunities. These range from working with orphans and street children in Bolivia and animal conservation in Australia, to community work in Nepal and teaching in Ghana. For a reasonable contribution, 70% of which goes straight to the charity, you can enhance your CV and career prospects, develop an understanding of different cultures, and possibly even learn a new language!

 London Tigers has been very successful in motivating and encouraging local young people and parents to become volunteers in their activities.
Many of our volunteers have successfully passed FA level 1 of Football coaching, Community Sports Leaders Award. 4 volunteers have progressed and enrolled onto Level 2 Football. We currently have over 30 volunteers regularly involved in our organisation on a weekly basis from over 8 nationalities.
