University of Portsmouth

Take the M275 into Portsmouth (signed 'Portsmouth West') whether approaching from the east (A3(M)/A27) or the west (M27 Junction 12). NB if approaching from A3(M)/A27 ignore junctions signed to Southsea and Hilsea.
From the end of the M275, follow signs for 'Historic Waterfront/Seafront'. This takes you across three roundabouts to traffic lights by Unicorn Gate (entrance to the naval dockyard).
These are the traffic lights at the top of the Guildhall Campus map - the route taken from here depends on your destination.

To Langstone Campus
Take the A2030 Eastern Road into Portsmouth (signed 'Portsmouth East') whether approaching from the east (A3(M)/A27) or the west (M27). NB if approaching from M27 ignore junction signed to M275.

Continue along the A2030 through several sets of traffic lights to the junction by Liningtons Renault Garage. Turn left along Milton Road keeping in the left lane. After the zebra crossing take the fourth road left into Locksway Road just before the next set of traffic lights. Continue along Locksway Road and turn left into Furze Lane.

Oxford Brookes Uinversity

From the north - take the M40, leave at junction 8a and follow the signs for Oxford along the A40. Then follow the signs for the city centre on the London Road.

If you are coming to Oxford via another route we recommend taking the ring road to the Headington Roundabout and following the signs to the city centre along the London Road.

Continue along London Road, past the Headington shops. Go straight on at the traffic lights with the White Horse public house on the right and then at the next set of traffic lights turn left. Gipsy Lane site is on the right. Headington Hill site is approximately a further 500 metres straight on from the Gipsy Lane junction on the right.
Car parking is severely restricted and you should not bring your car to either site unless you have a parking space booked in advance. Parking in the surrounding area is almost non-existent and you should consider using the Park and Ride service from either Thornhill or Seacourt, both of which drop at Gipsy Lane.
