Details of first Merlin Standard meeting released

The meeting was held on the 13th July and the minutes from the event can be viewed here.

The Merlin Standard has been designed to recognise and promote sustainable excellence within supply chains and provide guidance to those seeking to achieve it. It is built upon four fundamental and integrated principles; supply chain design, commitment, conduct and review.

The development of the standard responds directly to concerns raised by providers, especially those not operating as prime contractors, in ensuring appropriate fairness within supply chains. One of the representatives on the Merlin Board is the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA).

ERSA actively lobbies on the concerns and interests of sub-contractors in the Work Programme and other employment services such as Work Choice. ERSA operates a supply chain forum to help inform its membership of the Merlin Board as well as to promote supply chain excellence within the industry.
