Twin Launches Cyber Security Skills Bootcamp to Tackle Digital Skills Gap in Leicestershire

Twin Employment & Training is launching a new Cyber Security Digital Skills Bootcamp in Leicestershire, offering local adults a free route into the high-demand world of cyber security, with job interviews guaranteed upon completion.

The 6-week Bootcamp delivers the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices and is designed to give learners the skills, confidence, and qualifications needed to begin or pivot into a digital career. From tackling real-world cyber threats to mastering ethical conduct and incident response, the programme has been co-designed with employers to ensure job readiness.

Training starts on 4th August 2025, with planned monthly cohorts throughout the year. The Bootcamp is delivered online in Leicestershire and includes dedicated employability support such as CV writing, interview preparation, and personal development planning.

Learners can progress into roles such as:

• Cyber Security & IT Support Assistants
• Data & Systems Entry Specialists
• Junior Technicians and Apprenticeship Pathways

Confirmed employer partners include East Midlands Airport, Better-IT and Real Time IT, offering interview guarantees and co-designed training relevant to real vacancies.

The Bootcamp is funded as part of the Department for Education’s Skills for Life initiative and supported by Leicester City Council, focusing on tackling local skills shortages in key growth sectors.
