Families

Twin are working with SERCO to deliver the Families Programme

This Programme has now ended.

Families Programme

This is a three-year project aimed at assisting participants with their job searches and applications, interview preparation and coaching to build up their confidence. The programme is delivered in partnership with SERCO (Inspiring Families).

If you are enrolled in the programme, you will have the perfect opportunity to improve your family’s circumstances and get back into work. The scheme is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) so it's free for you to join and you can be enrolled for up to 65 weeks, but we hope that you will be in secure employment before then!

What happens in the programme?

If you join our Families Programme, you will be allocated a personal adviser who will help you to get the most out of the programme. The adviser will identify the current situation of your family and determine what barriers need to be addressed to help you secure work. Your adviser will create an action plan which will outline the steps that you will take in order to get you a job that is right for you and the rest of your family. There will be regular reviews throughout the programme to ensure that you stay on track and achieve your desired goal.

Your personal adviser will also ensure that you have the right tools and skills to apply for jobs. You will be given access to a range of resources that will assist in your search for jobs and help you get into employment. They will also discuss your finances and advise you of how much your financial situation could improve by being in permanent work.

If you have any other concerns that you want to discuss such as housing, health concerns, debt problems, childcare issues and more, your adviser will be there to support you and tell you where you can get specialist advice.
